James Lee is our Clinical Trials Manager & Project Manager

James’ main focus is the day-to-day management of the Multi-centre EuRopean study of Major Infectious Disease Syndromes (MERMAIDS), which is part of the PREPARE (Platform for European Preparedness Against (Re-)emerging Epidemics) project. James is the project manager for SPRINT-SARI; an international, multi-centre, prospective, Short PeRiod IncideNce observational sTudy of patients with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection.  His previous role was in a Research Governance capacity for University of Oxford Sponsored studies, which included monitoring of Clinical Trials and supporting high quality research within the University. James is also a qualified exercise therapist and has undertaken research on the effects of exercise on the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
