Amanda Rojek is a D.Phil Student in our group.
Amanda is a medical doctor, trained in Australia. She also has a MSc in Global Health from the University of Oxford. Her academic interest is in the medical response to humanitarian crises. Her DPhil is focused on how to improve patient oriented research during emerging infectious disease outbreaks. She was the field project manager for the ERGO TKM trial conducted in Sierra Leone during the West Africa Ebola outbreak and has worked in other humanitarian settings. She is a Rhodes Scholar and has been awarded an Oxford Blue.
